Information for Guests Attending an Army Football Game

Game Day Schedule

Ticketing Information

Tickets are for the invited guest only. If you can no longer attend, please contact Allison F. Capozza at acapozza@thayerleadership.com for re-assignment of your ticket.

All tickets will be distributed via mobile delivery at least 1 week prior to game day. Your ticket will be delivered to your mobile phone via text message from PAC Live.

Prior to arriving for game day:

PLEASE NOTE: To avoid issues on game day, please download and save tickets in advance, as connectivity can vary at West Point. If you do not download and save your mobile tickets to your mobile wallet prior to the event, you will need to use cellular data or Wi-Fi to access your tickets and may have trouble connecting on game day.

IMPORTANT: Do not print out your digital ticket as printed digital tickets will not be accepted at the stadium.

Access to West Point

Attending an event at West Point is a memorable experience, but it also comes with unique guidelines due to its status as an active military post. It’s important to be aware of ID requirements and visitor expectations.

  • ID requirements
    • West Point is a REAL ID compliant installation. For more information about REAL ID, click here.
    • All football fans aged 17 and older must present a valid U.S. issued ID (license or passport) to enter West Point.

Parking

During the 2026 Football season, there is no additional cost for parking at West Point.

  • Football fans attending a game WITHOUT an advance parking pass must enter through Washington Gate (917 Washington Road. West Point, NY) for General Parking. To avoid parking delays, we recommend arriving early. Guests entering Washington Gate will be directed to K Lot (near Starbucks and the West Point Cemetery) for parking and shuttle to Michie Stadium.
  • ADA and wheelchair accessible parking and bus transportation are ONLY available by entering Stony Lonesome Gate (1 Stony Lonesome Road, West Point, NY) and parking in H Lot. Please have your ADA placard visible upon entry. H Lot has shuttle transportation available to Gate 1 and Gate 5 of Michie Stadium.
  • Shuttles start at 7:30am and end 90 minutes following the conclusion of the game

The Suite Level Experience at Michie Stadium

Thayer is Suite F05 on the Foley Suite Level of Michie Stadium. Access starts at 9:30am for 12:00 pm kick off games.

Note: Besides your mobile ticket, suite level guests also require a wristband. See below for how to receive your wristband.

We recommend entering through either the Class of 1977 Gate or the Lee R. Anderson Class of 1961 Gate at Michie Stadium, located at the northeast and southeast corners of the stadium along Mills Road. Entering through these gates provides the most direct route to the East Stands Premium Seating.

If you enter through another stadium gate, you will need to navigate through the concourse, concessions, and seating areas to reach Black Knight Alley, directly east across from the East Stands.

  • After your ticket is scanned at a stadium gate, please proceed to the check-in tables located inside Odierno Lobby (the elevator tower located mid-way down Black Knight Alley) to receive your wristband.
  • Wristbands are required for ALL suite ticket holders and provide convenient access to the Healy and Foley Suite Levels, allowing guests to come and go without needing to present their tickets each time they return. Feel free to explore other areas of the stadium and enjoy seamless re-entry to the suite levels with your wristband.
  • After you receive your wristband, you can either take the stairwells or elevators up to the suite levels or explore the rest of the stadium.
  • Suite ticket holders can access all levels of the East Stands; however, only Foley Suite ticket holders have access to the Foley Suite level.

Clear Bag Policy

To increase safety and security measures, a new bag policy for Michie Stadium is in effect, mirroring policies enacted by the NFL and many other collegiate venues to streamline the entry process, allowing fans to enjoy the game with minimal hassle and delay at the entrances while maintaining a secure environment.

  • Only clear plastic bags, adhering to specific size requirements, are permitted inside the stadium. The largest acceptable size for these bags is 12 inches by 12 inches by 6 inches. Smaller wristlets, measuring up to 6.5 inches by 4.5 inches, are also allowed.
  • Items that will not be permitted include backpacks, luggage, oversized totes, coolers, briefcases, computers, and computer bags.

Here is a complete list of permitted vs. prohibited items. Please familiarize yourself with these guidelines prior to event day to avoid any inconvenience at the security checkpoints.

Attire

Guests are encouraged to wear Army, West Point, Thayer Leadership, or your favorite football team apparel. You may also wear smart casual attire appropriate for game day. We ask guests to avoid overly casual attire.

Food and Beverages

Catered food and beverages will be available in the Thayer Suite.

The Healey Suite Level, located two levels below the Foley Suite Level, also offers complimentary food and non-alcoholic beverages for all suite guests. A full cash bar is available on the Healey Suite Level for those seeking additional beverage selections.

Credit Cards Only

All Michie Stadium concessions (outside of the suite) and merchandise stand locations accept debit and credit cards and mobile payment for transactions. Cash will not be accepted.

Accommodations

Accommodations at the Thayer Hotel are no longer available for the 2026 Football season.

We recommend checking availability at Bear Mountain Inn (6 miles south of West Point) or Windrose on Hudson (20 miles south of West Point). There are also other hotels, motels, and Airbnb accommodations nearby.

You are welcome to take photos and videos inside the Thayer Suite, throughout Michie Stadium, and around the West Point campus.
