Congratulations to The Historic Thayer Hotel at West Point on being named “Best Hotel” in Hudson Valley magazine’s 2026 Best of Hudson Valley awards, as well as celebrating its 100th Anniversary this year!
For a century, The Thayer Hotel has stood as a landmark of history, tradition, and world-class hospitality. Since opening its doors in 1926, the hotel has welcomed generations of guests while serving as an enduring gathering place where meaningful connections, memorable experiences, and leadership come together.
Thayer Leadership is proud to celebrate this remarkable 100-year milestone and the legacy of a place we are honored to call home as our headquarters. A leader development experience at West Point extends well beyond the classroom. From historic memorabilia and military artifacts to commemorative plaques and displays, inspiration can be found in every corner of the hotel and conference spaces.
