Experience

A random encounter with a Green Beret in his small-town soda shop hurled Scott into the dream of becoming a Green Beret at 14 years old. For nearly two decades of his 23-year career, Scott lived into this Special Forces dream as he conducted tours all over the world, including Colombia, Peru, and multiple tours in Afghanistan. He served as an architect of the Village Stability Program in Afghanistan, a cutting-edge tribal engagement plan with indigenous communities. Through this experience, Scott helped build a strong body of work around strategic influence in high-stakes, low-trust environments, through deeper human connections that he shares with audiences today.

Following a dark transition from military service, Scott met a former NFL Football Player turned actor who showed him the power of strategic storytelling to heal himself and ultimately inspire tens of thousands more. Scott expanded this narrative healing journey into three TED Talks, hundreds of keynote speeches, national news analysis, and live theater. Today, Scott is a warrior storyteller, breath coach, executive story coach to C-Suite Leaders, host of The Scott Mann Podcast, and the founder of his own organization focusing on leadership.
