Dan has over three decades of service in the U.S. Army where he commanded from platoon to theater Army level and provided tactical, operational and strategic leadership in both training and combat environments. He served over 10 years in the elite 75th Ranger Regiment and spent a combined 6 years deployed on operational missions in Panama, Operation Desert Storm, Haiti, Kosovo, Jordan, Iraq and Afghanistan. He culminated his service with command of U.S. Army South, overseeing actions of all Army forces operating in the Latin American region and building strategic international partnerships in support of the National Defense Strategy. Dan has over 12 years of experience working in strategic leader roles generating unity of effort across diverse teams comprised of military, governmental, non-governmental and international partners in pursuit of shared security interests. He is adept in leading organizations through assessment, change and growth and he thrives in leveraging cross-functional relationships and networks to develop innovative solutions for new and unstructured situations. Dan believes in building cohesive teams and inspiring action with vision and trust to unlock potential in individuals and organizations.
