Katie Pitt serves as the Program and Operations Director at Thayer Leadership, where she oversees the teams responsible for planning, preparing, and executing leadership development programs. In her role, Katie works collaboratively across the organization to strengthen processes, coordinate complex program logistics, and ensure exceptional experiences for clients, participants, faculty, and partners.
Katie earned her bachelor’s degree in hospitality management from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania in 2015. While completing her degree, she gained hands-on experience at Skytop Lodge, a historic resort in Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains, building a strong foundation in hospitality, guest service, and event operations. After graduating, Katie spent a year working at The Historic Thayer Hotel at West Point before joining Thayer Leadership in 2016. Throughout her tenure, she has contributed to several areas of the organization, including Operations, Program Management, and Digital Learning.
A native of New York’s Hudson Valley, Katie is proud to support an organization rooted in the leadership legacy of West Point. She considers the opportunity to work alongside some of our nation’s distinguished military leaders—and to help bring their lessons and experiences to leaders across industries—both a privilege and an honor.
