Experience

Shari is celebrated as a top leadership expert, distinguished by her unique method of connecting with people and her adept leadership experience, enhancing and sustaining programs of leadership development, as an expert leadership and organizational behavior teacher and scholar, and an expert mentor and coach. Shari has commanded and led civilian and military teams and organizations in austere environments to include during multiple deployments in Iraq, Afghanistan, and other locations.

Shari has taught leadership and general psychology at the collegiate level and abroad at Management Center Innsbruck, Austria, Polytechnic University of Madrid, and the United States Military Academy, developing leaders of character at the world’s most prestigious leader development institution. Shari served as the Deputy Director of the West Point Leadership Center and was Officer in Charge of the Diversity Forum, where she was instrumental in mentoring and producing leaders of character. Additionally, Shari taught future business leaders at Seton Hall University, Stillman School of Business.

Shari believes in personal growth, development, and improvement while nurturing humanity. Shari is married to Randolph Bowen, her partner in service and building communities, and they have six successful adult children: Randy Jr, Tiana, Gabriel, Aaron, Jailah, and Simon.
