Experience
Patricia George served on active duty in the United States Army for over 28 years. In her career, she served in a variety of command and staff assignments at all levels, from Platoon Leader to Battalion Commander. Patricia was hand-selected to lead in several key positions from serving as the Chief, Department of the Army Secretariat, where she led a team to execute all the Army’s centralized selection boards for high potential leaders, to serving as an instructor and the Executive Officer in the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Leadership at the United States Military Academy. At West Point, Patricia also served as an advisor for the West Point Negotiation Project, a center of excellence to train the leaders in principled negotiation tactics, techniques, and procedures.
In 2020, she served as the Assistant Director of the Military Personnel Division responsible for providing advice and counsel to the Office of the Secretary of Defense on a full range of joint manpower/human resources policies and procedures for personnel. She is currently serving as a strategy consultant with a team of experts on a project to rebuild the US Army's Selection Board System.
Publications/Awards
In 2022, Patricia was recognized as the Adjutant General Corps Distinguished Member of the Corps for her career contributions in the field of Human Resources Management. She received an honorary Master of Science Degree in National Security Strategy from the National War College following her two-year teaching tenure. She was selected as the Vice President of the Adjutant General Corps for three different chapters.
